Broker sync, explained
Connecting a broker gives sizeforzero read access to your trade history — never the ability to place, cancel, or fund anything. Your fills arrive on a daily sync and land in your book the same way a CSV import would. Disconnecting stops the sync immediately and leaves every trade already imported exactly where it is.
Where broker sync shows up in a journal
A trading journal is where this stops being a definition and becomes your own number. sizeforzero computes it from the trades you import or log, alongside the rest of your analytics vocabulary, and every figure in the app carries an (i) that explains it in the same plain English you just read.
